“This is the story of Sparkle, a cute little doll in someone’s toy box who is struggling with who they are. At times they feel like a girl, and other times they feel like a boy. They are struggling with what is expected of them until a little cloud comes along and explains they can just be themselves! This was written to explain gender expression to my own 4 year old and I hope it can help some other children out there to understand, no matter who they are or what they like, they don’t have to stay in a box.”
